Artist's Comments

This is a picture of Marie Louise d'Orleans, a real French princess whom I have drawn before here [link]

More information about her is also at that link.

I had no idea where to put this, since she was a real historical person but I'm drawing her in a cartoonish way. Part of a project I'm working on.

I did, however, try to do a background that mimics the sort of art from the 17th century (their way of painting trees was wacky, though).

Anyway, all in Photoshop.

Your art is always lovely... I love the coloring on this one so much. I will have to commission you again when I have the extra money.

Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.

Holy cray-zap. That's frickin' amazing. How did you do the patterning on the dress? That must've taken forever!

Yennoe when you said your Uncle died and I said LOL? Well, what I meant was LOTS OF LOVE!!!

I really adore the subtle folds in the skirt, and the way you drew the hemline.

It's so pretty! I really like her expression and the pose you have her in! The dress and her hair also look gorgeous. Awesome job! :D

It is so lovely. I love your color choices. They bring such calmness to the picture.

If you think you can't draw... draw more.

So pretty! You're so talented at making a mood - this is so calm and lovely!

Will you be drawing the Versailles one day? Please?
:iconladyjenise:
Thank you! :3

I actually already have a bit, for this "project" I'm working on. Drew Versailles, some of the Grand Trianon. I'd like to draw more of the inside.

Thanks, but the patterning on the dress is quite simple.

If you have Photoshop, you can achieve it by layering and using the built-in patterns.
